MARLIN REPRESENTED AT
RURAL CARRIER MEETING

Marlin Senator Speaks And Remarks
Greeted With Much
Applause.

       Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Reat and Mrs. Ross Magee of Marlin attended sessions of the Rural Letter Carriers' convention at Waco Tuesday and Wednesday.
       Mr. Reat reports a good attendance of carriers, their wives and visitors, who were guests at a barbecue dinner at six o'clock Tuesday evening and a watermelon feast Wednesday evening.
       United States Senator Tom Connally of Marlin spoke at Wednesday's session, receiving much applause from the carriers.
